Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the 1st Batch SICIP-REHAB Skill Training Program. Chief Guest: Urmi Roy, UNO, South Surma, Sylhet

The SICIP-REHAB Skill Training Program has successfully completed its 1st Batch training for three important trades: Electrical Installation & Maintenance (EIM), Tile, Marble & Wood Work (TMW), and Masonry & Shuttering/Bar Bending (MSB). These trades play a vital role in today’s construction and housing sector, creating strong employment opportunities for youth. Through this program, trainees received hands-on training, practical demonstrations, and industry-relevant guidance to develop their technical skills. The EIM trade focused on electrical safety, wiring, installation, and maintenance techniques required for modern building systems. The TMW trade provided practical knowledge on tile fitting, marble cutting, wood finishing, and related craftsmanship needed in interior and exterior decoration. The MSB trade strengthened participants’ abilities in masonry work, measurement skills, shuttering techniques, and bar bending—key foundations of structural development. By completing these courses, trainees are now better prepared for professional work environments, both locally and internationally. The program aims to empower the youth with marketable skills and contribute to building a skilled workforce for the construction industry. This certificate ceremony celebrates the dedication and achievements of the trainees and marks a new step toward their brighter future.
